Priority Alerts for Video Doorbells and Security Cameras in Do Not Disturb mode (iOS only)
Priority Alerts lets you receive alerts from your Ring doorbell or camera when your mobile device is in Do Not Disturb mode, and override Motion Alerts settings in the Ring app.
This feature requires a Ring Home Standard or Premium subscription.

How to set up Priority Alerts
Follow these instructions to ignore your device’s settings and send you Video Doorbell and Security Camera alerts right away when your mobile device is in Do Not Disturb or Focus mode.
- Open the Ring app and tap menu (☰).
- TapDevices.
- Tap the desired Video Doorbell or Security Camera.
- TapDevice Settings.
- TapNotification Settings.
- TapPriority Alerts.
- If Critical Alerts are not already enabled for the Ring app in your device settings, you will see a button prompting you toTurn on Priority Alerts.Note:Priority Alerts requires Critical Alerts to be enabled for the Ring app in the Notifications settings on your iOS device. To enable them, tapTurn on Priority Alertswhen prompted by the Ring app and toggle on bothCritical AlertsandAllow Notifications. You can go to Settings > Notifications on your iOS device at any time to manage your Ring notifications.
- In the Ring app, select the Doorbell Alerts and Motion Alerts you want to receive. TickOverride Snooze and Schedulesif you want to receive Priority Alerts when you have snoozed Motion Alerts.
Note: Priority Alerts in Do Not Disturb or Focus mode only applies to push notifications, not emails.
