Contact Sensor false alarm tips

Below are useful setup tips to consider with your Contact Sensor(s):

1. Use the right placement settings. If you use a door often to come and go, set the door to

   Main Door

   . If you never use it, you can use

   Secondary Door.

    Always set windows to the

   Window setting.
2. Adjust entry and exit delays to give you enough time to enter, exit, and use your alarm without setting off false alarms. 
3. Be sure that your doors and windows close tightly. If your door or window pops open, it can set off a false alarm.
4. Make sure Contact Sensors and magnets are securely attached to your doors and windows. If they fall off while armed, it could set off a false alarm.
