How to Fix Invalid Location Coordinates in the Ring App
In the Ring app, you must have a valid address for select features to work properly. If your default address is set to zero-zero coordinates (0', 0'), please update your address.

How to fix your address in the Ring app
- Open the Ring app to the main dashboard.
- Tap themenu (≡).
- TapSettings.
- TapAddress.
- TapEdit Address.
- Select a location type.
- Enter a valid address based on your device location and selectUse This AddressorEdit Addressif you need to make changes.
- Make sure to pin your address on the map to determine valid coordinates.
- Add aNamefor the location and selectSave Location.
Address Note: You may need to enter your address manually if it doesn't auto-populate as you're typing it in. Only primary account holders can edit locations in their Ring app. If you are a Ring Alarm user, you may need to re-establish your Professional Monitoring¹ with your new address.
