Subscribing to a Smoke & CO Professional Monitoring plan

Get 24/7 emergency response for your eligible devices with a Smoke & CO Professional Monitoring plan.¹

Ring's Smoke & CO Professional Monitoring plan provides round-the-clock monitoring for your eligible smoke and carbon monoxide (CO) devices. When smoke or CO is detected, trained agents can request emergency fire services to be dispatched on your behalf.

Smoke & CO Professional Monitoring can be purchased stand-alone (covering compatible smoke & CO devices listed below) or added to any active Ring Home Basic, Standard, or Premium plan for $5/month or $50/year (per location). Smoke & CO Professional Monitoring is also included with the Alarm Professional Monitoring add-on and Virtual Security Guard.

Eligibility

To subscribe to Smoke & CO Professional Monitoring, you need one or more of the following:

• A

  Kidde Smart Smoke Alarm

  or

  Smart

  Smoke and CO Alarm

  device
• A Ring Alarm system with a Ring Alarm Smoke & CO Listener
• A compatible First Alert Smoke & CO detector paired with a Ring Alarm system

How to subscribe

You can purchase a Smoke & CO Professional Monitoring plan by selecting Plan from the header or your dashboard on Ring.com.

1. Go to

   Ring.com

   and sign in to your account.
2. Click the

   Plan

   tab from the top menu.
3. Click

   Subscribe

   from the Plan page.
   1. If you have multiple locations, first select the location you want to sign up for Smoke & CO Professional Monitoring from the list of locations on the left.
   2. If you already have an active subscription, click

      Upgrade

      on the Plan page instead of Subscribe to add a plan.
4. Add your Smoke & CO Professional Monitoring Plan.
   1. Select monthly ($5/month) or yearly ($50/year) billing.

What the Smoke & CO Professional Monitoring plan covers

• 60 days of smoke and CO event history
• 24/7 professional monitoring for smoke and carbon monoxide events
• Phone call notifications from professional monitoring agents when smoke or CO is detected
• Automatic request for fire service dispatch when smoke/CO is detected

Managing your plan

To manage your Smoke & CO Professional Monitoring subscription:

1. Log in to

   ring.com

   or the Ring app.
2. Select Plan or Manage Plan.
3. Under Professional Monitoring, select your Smoke & CO Monitoring plan.
4. From here you can:

• Update your payment method
• Switch between monthly/yearly billing
• Cancel your plan (immediately or at the end of your billing cycle)

Please note that Smoke & CO Professional Monitoring is not available to customers with an active legacy plan (including Plus 1st Gen), as those plans already include Alarm Professional Monitoring, which includes Smoke & CO Professional Monitoring.
